This is a very unusual drum! The finish is a high gloss laquered stain fade from green to yellow with a matchingly finished wood veneer inside the tuning ring. The skin is a rather thick goat skin providing warm doums and the jingles are heavily handhammered and darker sound than the other riqs here. The finish is very classy looking with the inlay stripe on the skin ring. The skin can be easily replaced by the player, so more heads can be ordered to have more sound options. But as the inlay on this model is on the skin ring, replacement heads with inlay as well would cost more than solid coloured ones (of course you can get a solid colour one at standard price for a different look as well).
